Abstract: To develop the leisure agriculture is the objective need of the development of the national economic society. In order to strengthen the demonstrative function of the demonstrative county, which is combined with the national leisure agriculture and country tourism, the article took the example of Maiji district in Tianshui. The character of the leisure agriculture and the present status were analyzed. The relevant countermeasures which were mentioned in this paper base on the reality of Maiji district in Tianshui’s economy as well as abundant local historic culture, the times requirements of the great development and prosperity and also the integrated resources of the agriculture, tourism and culture. Meanwhile the article also pointed out that the scientific development of the leisure agriculture should be in coordination with the national policy and the time requirement and set on the local reality and character.
