Information about the composition of insect population, fauna character, population diversity and distribution had been obtained through study in different sample plots and at different altitude. Based on the specimen had been identified, conclusions as follows had been made: there were totally 178 insect species in the site, among which 106 were palaearctic species (59.55%), 30 were cosmopolitan species (16.85%), 23 were palaearctic-oriental species (12.92%), 18 were oriental species (10.11%) and 1 was oriental-africa region 1 specie (0.56%). The palaearctic species held the absolute predominance in the natural reserve; meanwhile, complex insect fauna had formed with cosmopolitan, palaearctic-oriental, oriental and oriental-africa species.
