Abstract:

Batocera lineolata (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) is an important woodborer and severely damages ash trees, a valuable tree for garden greening in the Yellow River Delta. Studies on spatial distribution patterns of B. lineolata at different stand type ash trees are important to sample survey and control. In the paper, spatial distribution patterns of B. lineolata at five stand types’ ash tree, such as patch forest, yard greening forest, highway forest, urban road forest and yard road forest, were studied by investigating the number of frass holes, emergence holes and bored holes of B. lineolata on ash trees. By the computing aggregation index, Iwao regression equation, Taylor power index equation, the results showed that the spatial distribution patterns of B. lineolata frass holes, emergence holes and bored holes were aggregated when B. lineolata attacked at patch forest, yard greening forest, highway forest, urban road forest and yard road forest. However, the parameters of the aggregation index, the α and β value of Iwao regression equation, the lga and b value of Taylor power index equation were different.
