Abstract: In order to study the influence of bacteria and accessories of chicken manure compost, the experiment was conducted to study the changes of temperature,Escherichia coli numbers and the odor during chicken manure compost by adding sawdust, rice husk, yeast and lactic acid bacteria respectively. The results showed that: (1) The highest fermented temperature of yeast group reached 67.6℃, 6.9℃higher than in lactic acid bacteria group, and the fermented time lasted 16 days over 55℃, 5 days more than in lactic acid bacteria group, which better than in control group (55.9℃,5 days); (2) The highest fermented temperature in sawdust group 2.2℃higher than in rice husk group, and time lasted 3 days more than in rice husk group over 55℃; (3) The number of E. coli was reduced from 105 to 102 per gram in yeast group and lactic acid bacteria group. The odor was disappeared respectively in 7th and 8th day. The effects showed that yeast and sawdust were best for chicken manure compost in the experiment.
