Ponder over the Problems on Accelerating the Development of Education Undertaking in Rural Areas

Abstract: It is the fundamental element to enhance the quality of native peasants, and the key point is accelerating the development of education undertaking if we shall achieve the whole goal of making rural areas become society of relative affluence. It has been long that the structure of rural education is single, and it is having partial pursuit of enrollment quotas, the vocational education and the adult education of rural education is weak, which is short of universal education aiming at the rural areas, neglects the needs of a lots of graduates coming back hometown from high schools with requiring with learning the knowledge and technology on production for their jobs, which leads to restraining the development of the agricultural technology and science and the adjustment of agricultural structure, making the competitive power weaker, and at the same time influencing the shift of rural surplus labor force. The paper also shows us with that our government must put more money to improve our rural education, and establish the overlooking and the bestir system to take good use of educational fund, strengthen to induct and arouse the consume of home-based education, adjust the setting of specialized courses of the high schools in rural areas and reinforce the training of rural practical technology, quicken the transference of rural population to villages and so on to accelerate the development of education undertaking in rural areas.
