Abstract: In order to explore the leaf veins heredity and breed excellent varieties of Cyclamen hederifolium, the selfing lines measurement of six different types are carried out, and the genetic constitution of leaf veins is studied according of the offspring separation condition. The results showed that, B or M type selfing generations were 100% B or M types, and F, H, X, L types had properties separation. The separation law showed that leaf veins of C.hederifolium were controlled by tiny effect polygene, and each site consisted of a pair alleles RL or RB, among them RL gene made phenotype for the green leaf, RB gene led to leaf phenotype for silvery white. If a locus of genotype consisted of RLRL, blade performance was dark green; genotype was RLRB, leaf appeared to be green; genotype was RBRB, blade showed silvery white; the collection pattern by all locus were formed the different kinds of leaf veins. The gene control mode about leaf veins variation is the foundation for breeding fine varieties of C.hederifolium in the future.
