Agricultural Microclimate Observation Sensor: Based on Internet of Things by Using STM32 System

Abstract:

To realize the design of agricultural microclimate observation system with distributed measurement, it is necessary to design an observation sensor with small-size and relatively low-cost. Sensor design and manufacture were achieved by applying STM32 system and adopting modern electronic design technology and intelligent software and hardware development. The results showed that: the application of STM32 system for the main control unit hardware design and its own standard library function development firmware could not only meet the functional requirements, but also have low costs for design and production. The integrated sensor could serve the needs of agricultural microclimate observation, moreover, compared with the agricultural microclimate observation system with centralized control, it had the advantages of installation and maintenance, its small in size and “all wireless” design would not affect the agricultural activities. In conclusion, intelligent sensor design based on the Internet of Things lays a foundation for the distributed measurement.
