Abstract:

Based on the interdisciplinary nature of landscape architecture, this paper takes the landscape architecture planning of Bijie Sala creek demonstration area as an example to discuss the landscape planning and design of Karst depression and soil and water conservation measures. The methods of literature review, field investigation and multidisciplinary research were used. The spatial, visual and cultural characteristics of Karst depressions were analyzed. Through the analysis of natural conditions, environmental capacity and scale prediction, local traffic, resources, users and SWOT, the Karst depressions were divided into functional areas, landscape space layout, road layout, plant arrangement and garden building construction. A landscape planning and design method suitable for Karst depressions was explored by combining landscape construction with rocky desertification control.

Key words: landscape architecture, Karst depression, landscape planning and design, rocky desertification, soil and water conservation
