Abstract: In this paper, the main characters of SE21S and Minghui86( the female parent and male parent of Liangyou2186) were investigated and researched. The result shows that: SE21S, which is the female parent of Liangyou2186, possess the merits of good plant type, long growth duration, high column cap, good resistance, tillering and so on; Minghui86, the male parent, with the characters of tillering, long breeding period, lots of leaves and so on. Through the observation and exploitation of several characters of Liangyou2186, some suggestions of high yield manufacture in Shaxian County were also proposed.
