Abstract:

We conducted a field experiment to evaluate the effects of soil disinfection on greenhouse soil-borne diseases and the growth of tea chrysanthemum under continuous cropping cultivation system. Taking Beijing tea chrysanthemum as experimental plant, treatments under conventional control (CK) and chlorinated bitter fumigation (Pic) were designed before mother plant cultivation. The results showed that compared with CK, the inhibition rates of Phytophthora spp. and nematodes were more than 85%, the cutting harvest was significantly increased by 31.47%, and the yield, total flavonoid and chlorogenic acid content of tea chrysanthemum were significantly increased by 20.43%, 10.14% and 18.02%, respectively. We concluded that soil disinfection could significantly reduce the occurrence of greenhouse soil-borne diseases, improve the harvest amount of cuttings, promote the growth, increase the yield, and improve the quality of tea chrysanthemum under the experimental conditions. Our results can provide reference for the development of tea chrysanthemum industry in the mountainous area of Beijing.
