Abstract: The main characters of new cotton hybrid JiH239 were analysed based on the results of Hebei Cotton Regional Test in 2003~2004. The results showed that JiH239 was high yield, disease-resistance and fiber length and strength were better than CK cultivar, micronaire value was a little high. The Bt toxic protein gene expression levels was higher than bollworm-resistant CK Zhongmiansuo41 in different growing period. The purity of bollworm-resistant was higher than Zhongmiansuo41 in seeding period and no significant variety in bud period and flower-boll period. The Cultivate Technology of this hybrid was suggested for planting.
