Abstract: Through the test effect of the biocide ,the pesticide stemming from botany, the chemical pesticide most in use which specialize in eliminating “Locusta migratoria manilensis Meyen” shrouding the fields in Yellow-River beach area Zhongmou County Henan Province between 2005 and 2006, the result clearly indicates: Using 30% of Metarhizium Anisipliae LUV to eliminate locusts with capacity of 167~250ml/hm2, 14 days later, average elimination rate is about 90%.Using0.3% of Matrine with capacity of 900ml/hm2 and 1% of Celangulins with capacity of 300 ml/hm2, average elimination rate of the two eliminating locusts is higher than 90% respectively. Compared with middle-poison Fipronil and low-poison Malathin , the result of effects is very close to the former ,and better than latter. Since Metarhizium, Matrine, Celangulins all belong to low-poison biocide and low-poison pesticide stemming from botany, we can use them as a substitute for organic phosphorus pesticide and cycloprothrin pesticide.
