Abstract: In this paper, three kinds of pesticide residues in tea garden soil in southwest zone were detected, the environmental quality of the tea garden was systematically investigated, and thus pesticide pollution in the tea garden was assessed. In this study, the soil samples were extracted with acetone and concentrated, and then separated in capillary column gas chromatography and detected with electron capture detector (ECD), and quantified using external standards. It was found that the residue amounts of pesticides in different soil samples were different. It is beneficial to take effective countermeasures to control pesticide pollution and promote tea export through analyzing and evaluating the residue status of pesticide in tea garden soil.
