Abstract: The experiment was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of decoquinate against Eimeria tenella according to the anticoccidial index(ACI). The results demonstrated that decoquinate of different concentration have the different efficiency.The ACI of decoquinate group given at low dose(13.6 ppm in feed) is 181.29;the ACI of decoquinate group given at median dose(27.2 ppm in feed) is 182.65; the ACI of decoquinate group given at high dose(54.4 ppm in feed) is 181.61.The efficacy of combined decoquinate with Maduramcin and Toltrazuril is excellent.The respective ACI is 194.37 and 197.89.The results revealed Decoquinate has potential value as a broiler anticoccidial. It suggested that Decoquinate combinating with Maduramcin and Toltrazuril could enhance the efficacy.
