Abstract: Salinity is one of the important environmental factors on plant growing. The paper summarized the research progress of the effects of salt stress on seed germination, growth and development and photosynthesis, and reviewed the adaptive mechanism of the plant to salinity, including the structure of plant, active oxygen scavenging , osmo-regulation matter, ionic homeostasis.
