Abstract: The wild vegetable resources in Henan Province are quite rich. The resource involves 91 families, 226 genera and 415 species. The statistics and analysis on the characteristics of species, biological properties, eatable parts, the time of collection, and environment of growth were conducted. The geographical distributions of wild vegetable resources were given in the present paper. The present situation and the ways of rational exploitation and utilization of wild vegetable resources were also discussed.
