Abstract:

The spatial distribution of Empoasca vitis(Gothe) in organic tea garden was systematically investigated. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the number of adults, nymphae and eggs of E. vitis in all directions of tea trees. The number of adults, nymphae and eggs of E. vitis is the most on the upper part of tea trees and the less on the lower. In Tieguanyin (Oolong tea) and Fuding White Tea (green tea), the distribution of eggs of E. vitis is both above the third leaf position.
