Abstract:

For it has not been researched and reported that apply mushroom dregs to vegetable seedlings raising, we matched mushrooms, perlite and slag according to different proportion to get different substrate, and compared its physical, chemical and nutrient properties which had been tested with ideal substrate properties; meanwhile, we sowed the seeds of jiangbing melon into the substrate contrasted with the substrate of raising tobacco seedlings with floating trays, and we tested the index and G score of jiangbing melon sowed in substrate dealt by different methods when the seedling age was 30 days. The result indicated that the substrate in a 6:1:1 (mushroom dregs: perlite: slag) ratio, no matter considering its physical, chemical and nutrient properties or healthy seedlings index and G score of jiangbing melon, is better than the substrate dealt by other different methods. So we can primarily determine the substrate based on this proportion we have tested could be the vicarious substrate for raising seedlings.
