Analysis of Differences between Decussate Maize and Alternative Maize in Cytokins Controling Gene

Abstract:

Abstract:Based on the Cytokinin levels and CTK/IAA in opposite maize were significantly higher than those of alternative maize and increased from alternative to opposite, to spiral. The sequence of ZmRR1,ZmRR2,ZmRR3,ZmRR4, ZmRR5,ZmRR6, ZmRR7,ZmRR8,ZmRR9,ZmRR10 genes and the CDS of them were found in GenBank according the report about opposite maize of cold spring label,, we analyzed genes and expression of them relative to the formation of different phyllotaxy. ZmRR1,ZmRR2,ZmRR3,ZmRR4, ZmRR5,ZmRR6, ZmRR7,ZmRR8,ZmRR9,ZmRR10 genes genes were amplified from genomic DNA of opposite and alterative plants. The results suggest that the ZmRR1,ZmRR2,ZmRR3,ZmRR4, ZmRR5,ZmRR6, ZmRR7,ZmRR8,ZmRR9,ZmRR10 genes do not change in opposite and alternative phyllotaxy maize. In different tissues including embrys ,sprouts,mature leaves,roots,and immature spikes, ZmRR1,ZmRR2 only expressd in root; ZmRR3 did not expressed in roots and leaves ; ZmRR6 did not expressed in sprouts; ZmRR4, ZmRR5, ZmRR7,ZmRR8,ZmRR9,ZmRR10 expressed in different tissues including embrys ,sprouts,mature leaves,roots and immature spikes. The transcriptional level of ZmRR1,ZmRR2,ZmRR3,ZmRR4, ZmRR5,ZmRR6, ZmRR7,ZmRR8,ZmRR9,ZmRR10 in the different tissues including embrys ,sprouts,mature leaves,roots,immature spikes present no difference between the two phenotypes of mazie with decussate phyllotaxy and alternative phyllotaxy. These results indicate the phyllotaxy formation of opposite and alterative phyllotaxy maize used in this study is not similar to the transport of Mu7 to ZmRR3 gene.
