Abstract:

A survey of wine grape fruit-rotting disease was conducted during the 2009 growing season in Penglai. It found Colletotrichum gleosporioides, Coniothyrium diplodiella, Botrytis cinerea and sour rot were responsible for much of bunch rot in vineyards in late August. The two former diseases were the most prevalent fruit disease at that times, Botrytis cinerea was on the second, Sour rot was a lesser rot degree than others. In the inoculation tests in laboratory, it showed that the unwounded grape fruits had lower infection rate than that of the wounded fruit and resistance to the infection of three tested pathogen (C.gleosporioides, C.diplodiella and Aspergillus sp.). In addition, five grape varieties differ in the incidence and disease indexes of fruit rot. Cabernet Sauvignon had the strongest resistance in the five tested varieties. Carbernet Gernischet took second place.
