Abstract:

The sex pheromone trap is effective to capture adults diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella Linnaeus). By using sex pheromone trap, the diamondback moth population can be reduced and the pesticide usage will be decreased obviously. The trapping efficiency of six sex pheromone lure of diamondback moth was compared. The results show that, the daily mean number of the diamondback moths trapped by lure A, B, F was significantly higher than other lure C, E, D,Lure A, B, F was close to each other. They were also showed the same results occur on the sensitivity of improved trap and hightest single-day diamondback moth trapped in the 30 days. But the Trapping properties showed different at different time segment. In the 1st-10th day, the efficiency of lure A were significantly higher than any other induced core; lure E, C weir also significantly higher than those lure D. In the 11st-20th day, the adult number captured by lure A and B are very close, but the number captured by lure F is relative small. At the same time, the number captured by lure E is much more than C, D. In the 21st-30th day, the numbers of diamondback month adult captured by lure A, B, F are closed to each other.
