Abstract:

Abstract:we discussed the effect of explant types and the different combinations of 6-BA and NAA concentrations on the regeneration of the non-heading Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris ssp. Chinensis L.) called Liangbaiye. The results showed that there was marked difference in the regeneration frequency between petiole with cotyledon, cotyledon and hypocotyl. The regeneration frequency of petiole with cotyledon was the highest among three explant types in the medium of MS + 6-BA (5.0 mg/L) + NAA (0.1mg/L) + AgNO3 (4.0 mg/L), and the differentiation frequency could reach as high as 59.5 %. That layed the foundation for establishment of genetic transformation system of Liangbaiye. Keywords: Chinese cabbage; adventitious buds; regeneration
