Abstract:

After composting, the garden green waste is a natural environmentally friendly flowers matrix. In this study, landscape waste, peat, pearlite and prime soil were in proportion to form a new green matrix, and then had a pot experiment with the Petunia. Through the determination of the physical and chemical properties and physiological indicators of the petunia which was yielded by five different ratios of the substrate, we could find the influence of the growth of Petunia by five different treatments. The results showed that: the quality of Petunia was affected by these five different ratios of substrate. Among these five treatments, the optimal substrate ratio is landscaping waste: soil = 3:7 treatment. This is provide a theoretical basis and data matrix support for the future use of alternative landscape wastes produced by flowers and trees to peat.
