Abstract:

In this paper,the effects of feed apple to Asian corn borer(Ostrinia nubitatis)were study by build host experimental population life table under indoor raise. The results showed that compared with feeding Maize leaf and Artificial fodder, the population feeding apple not only the gowth was restrained but also the parameters was decreased included Net reproductive rate、Innate capacity of increase and Fecundity. The Average generation time was prolonging 19.6140d and 14.1420d than feeding Maize leaf （37.7170d）and Artificial fodder（43.5750d）; The Net reproductive rate（1.8933）,Innate capacity of increase（0.0111）andFiniterate of naturalincrease（1.0112）were decreased by 93.66%,93.26% and 14.23%,and decreased by 76.91%、80.11% and 4.37% than feeding Maize leaf.
