Mineral Accumulation Characteristics of Red Beet Seedlings Under Exogenous Selenium Treatment

摘要:

红甜菜具有很高的营养价值和药用价值。硒元素是人体所必需的元素,被国内外医药界和营养学界尊称为“生命的火种”。为探究硒元素对红甜菜苗期各矿物质累积的影响,本研究以荷兰红甜菜品种‘必久’为研究材料,对其施用不同种类不同浓度的外源硒(0、0.5、5、10 mol/L)。根据试验结果得出以下试验结论:Na2SeO4和Na2SeO3在0.5 mol/L时,对红甜菜吸收Na、Mg、Ca、Mn、Fe影响不大;Na2SeO4和Na2SeO3在5 mol/L时均能够促进红甜菜对Na、Mg、Ca、Mn、Fe的吸收;Na2SeO4和Na2SeO3在10 mol/L时,除对Mg元素吸收起到抑制作用外,红甜菜吸收Na、Mg、Ca、Mn、Fe量均略高于对照,但吸收促进作用将会减弱。结论在红甜菜苗期施用适当浓度的外源硒会提高红甜菜苗期对Na、Mg、Ca、Mn、Fe的吸收。

Abstract:

Red beet has high nutritional value and medicinal value. Selenium is an essential element for human body and is regarded as the ‘kindling of life’ by the medical and nutritional circles at home and abroad. In order to explore the effect of selenium on the accumulation of mineral substances in red beet seedling stage, this study took the Dutch red beet variety ‘Bijiu’ as the research material and applied different kinds and concentrations of exogenous selenium to it (0, 0.5, 5, 10 mol/L). The experiment results showed the following conclusions. When Na2SeO4 and Na2SeO3 were 0.5 mol/L, the effect had little difference on the absorption of Na, Mg, Ca, Mn and Fe in red beet, Na2SeO4 and Na2SeO3 at the concentration of 5 mol/L could promote the absorption of Na, Mg, Ca, Mn and Fe in red beet. At the concentration of 10 mol/L, Na2SeO4 and Na2SeO3 could inhibit the absorption of Mg, the amount of Na, Mg, Ca, Mn and Fe absorbed by red beet was slightly higher than those of the control, but the absorption boost was reduced. In summary, applying proper concentrations of exogenous selenium in red beet seedling stage could increase the absorption of Na, Mg, Ca, Mn and Fe in red beet.
