Abstract: The soil and population bearing capacity of windy and sandy region along the Great Wall of North Shaanxi were analyzed systematically in this paper. The results showed that the production potential of soil resources can meet the needs of population growth in this region absolutely, and it have enough foods to satisfy population growth which caused by acceleration of industrialization in this region, if we seek the growth of agricultural production purely or take solving the issue of having adequate food clothing as the objective.
