Abstract: By field experiment, effects of different remained leaf number on the growth, leaf yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco, the results showed that inter node of the flue-cure tobacco was increased with increasing the remained leaf number. remained leaf number would be more influence on leaf weight .The yield will be decreased by keeping less leaves per plant, but keeping more leaves will influence on the average price and the rate of high and middle class leaf. Generally, keeping twenty leaves per plant was acceptable, which would provide more yield, good quality and industry usability of tobacco leaf.
