新建本科院校农林生物学科《遗传学》双语教学探析

摘要:

《遗传学》是农林生物学科相关专业的重要核心课程,也是当今发展最为活跃的科学领域之一。高等院校相关专业开展《遗传学》双语教学具有重要意义。新建本科院校作为中国高等教育的重要组成部分,在双语教学发展方面还处于起步与探索阶段,存在师资严重不足、学生英语基础薄弱、教学管理体制滞后等问题。主要从《遗传学》双语教学的开展意义、双语教学开展的形式、可能存在的问题和提出解决问题的措施等方面进行了初步的讨论和分析。

Abstract:

Genetics, one of the most active developing scientific fields in the world nowadays, is a key course in the associated majors of agronomic, forestry and biological subjects. Bilingual education for genetics in universities of our country is of importance. Newly-constructed universities, as playing an important role in our state higher education, are at the beginning and exploring stage with the questions of serious shortage of teachers, students’ lack of English knowledge basis and schools’ administrative lagging in the genetics bilingual teaching. It is primarily discussed and analyzed in this paper that: for guaranteeing the quality of genetic bilingual education, five factors should be given special attention, namely, teachers, students, textbooks and courses, as well as teaching methods and teaching means.
