Abstract: The total RNA from the skin tissure of sheeps was extracted by using Trizol reagent. Primer was designed to amplify the fragments of exon11 to exon19 in sheeps, and the fragment was obtained. It included the partial sequence of exon11 (120bp), exon12 (126bp), exon13 (90bp), exon14 (151bp), exon15 (95bp), exon16 (128bp), exon17 (123bp), exon18 (112bp), exon19 (66bp). And the deduced polypeptide was got by the translation software and it was found that the KIT gene coded 331 amino acids. The multiple sequence alignments revealed that the similarity of sheeps were above 94%. It was confirmed that the sequence obtained in this study was the KIT gene of sheeps.
