Abstract:

Abstract:(Objective)To investigate the influence of ethanol extract of the allium in mouse-specific and non-specific immunity by DTH method, flow cytometry and HC50 assay , and provide basic evidence for the regulation of the immune status of animals and improvement of the body's defense.(Method) 60 Kunming mice were randomly divided into the cyclophosphamide group (C), cyclophosphamide + alcoholic extract group (C + A), ethanol extract of the allium group (A) and normal saline group (S). Subcutaneous injection of immune suppression caused by cyclophosphamide in mice; C + A group and A group of mice were fed ethanol extract of the allium consecutive 35 days; S group fed with normal saline. A series of tests were carried out such as clinical symptoms, the immune organ index, the cellular and humoral immune function and the non-specific immune function.(Result)The results showed that ethanol extract of the allium enhanced the immune organ index; increased the weight difference of the left and right ear, CD4+/CD8+values, serum antibody and phagocytic activity in immune suppression mice. The ethanol extract of the allium promoted phagocytic activity and NK cell activity in the normal mice. (Conclusion)As a conclusion that the ethanol extract of the allium could significantly regulate the specific immunity and non-specific immunity function in mice.
