Abstract: Combing through the research literatures on rural residential land consolidation, the paper found many research in this field. Foreign rural residential land consolidation mode has the concept and institutional features of reflecting overall diversification, putting emphasis on the distribution of benefits, focusing on ecological landscaping which also laid the foundation for its specific distribution of benefits. In China, the studies are focused on the issue of rural residential land consolidation concept and connotation, pattern classification, the driving force, effective evaluation and are relatively weak in the global characteristics of the various types of consolidation modes, especially deficiencies in relation to this. For the distribution of interests of the various stakeholders in the rural residential land consolidation, fresh bud literatures take it as an object of study. A small number of scholars in the study of issues related pay some attention to this issue which reflects the thinking. To explore reasonable rural residential land consolidation mode and effectively protect the interests of stakeholders will be an important part of the follow-up study.
