Characteristics and Approaches of Farmer Vocational Education in Ancient China

Abstract: In order to comprehensively understand farmer vocational education in ancient China, its characteristics and approaches were analyzed based on literatures. Vocational education in ancient China had a long history, large amount of students, rich content and flexible and diverse methods. It was mainly completed through family education, guidance of agricultural experts, supervision of agricultural institutions, agricultural books, etc. Studying farmer vocational education is of certain significance for the transformation of agricultural science and technology and the progress of social development at present.
