Abstract: The aim of this study is explore a feeding mode which is more conducive to improve production performance of pregnant sow, and provide reference for practical production. The experiment was conducted in Linyi Bocheng Pig Ltd. in April 2015. 56 sows (3th-6th parity) which had close breeding period were randomly divided into group A and B. The pregnancy period was 114 days and lactation period was 21 days. Pigs in group A was fed 1 time a day during pregnancy period, 4 times a day during lactation period and 2 times a day for 7 days after weaning. Pigs in group B was fed 2 times a day during pregnancy period, 4 times a day during lactation period and 2 times a day for 7 days after weaning. The results showed that group A is better than group B in litter size, alive litter size, piglet birth weight, piglet weight 21 days after weaning and sow estrus rate 7 days after weaning, and the advantages were obvious. Thus feeding pregnant sows 1 time a day during the pregnancy period was better than 2 times a day in reproductive performance.
