Abstract: In order to forecast the trend of tilapia trade, and guide the healthy sustainable development of tilapia industry, the basic situation of China"s tilapia exports, exports of regional, and export target countries were analyzed, tilapia trade development trend was forecasted. The results showed that China"s tilapia products were mostly supplied to the international market. In recent years, export trade showed a good state basically, but the growth speed had slowdown gradually. To meet the international market demand, frozen tilapia fillets had become the most important products in China. Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi, Fujian were the main tilapia export provinces. Chinese tilapia"s largest export target country is the United States. The increase of export target countries also represented China"s tilapia market was tend to be diversified. At the same time, tilapia industry"s future was faced with many problems, such as the increase of the trade competitiveness of competitors and decrease of the market, and the severe international trade environment. Sustained and stable development of tilapia industry must rely on the developing of domestic and foreign market, improving the quality of the products and building up the marketing channels, etc.
