The Spatial-temporal Variation of Net Primary Productivity and Ecosystem Service Value of Cultivated Land: A Case Study of Baiyin District in Gansu Province

Abstract: Cultivated land is the basic resources for human survival,in order to promote the sustainable and healthy development of cultivated land in Baiyin district Gansu Province,in this study the spatial and temporal differences of net primary productivity (NPP) and ecological service function of cultivated land is quantitatively analyzed.The results show that:The total value of NPP and ecological service unit area of cultivated land increased slightly in Baiyin district form 2004-2014,and the spatial distribution of NPP and ecological service va1ue was very obvious and divided into the lower value in the northwest area and the higher value in the southeast area.The unit area value of ecological service was about 4.66 million yuan /(hm2·a) and NPP was about 3.27t/ (hm2·a) in the southeast area,while in the northwest area,they were 5.46 million yuan/(hm2·a) and 5.38t/(hm2·a) respectively.The ecological service value of cultivated land is mainly dominated by the value of soil conservation and atmospheric regulation,accounting for 76.87% of the total value in Baiyin district.
