Typical Meteorological Disasters Affecting Sunlight Greenhouse in East Hexi Corridor: A Risk Assessment

Abstract: On the basis of typical greenhouse contrast experiments and meteorological data, the authors analyzed the influence of the low temperature, low light and winds as the typical meteorological disasters in study area, classified and designed the mild moderate, severe and large disaster threshold index, then introduced the single disaster index (SI) and composite index (CI), to assess the risk intensity of disasters. The results showed that: single disaster index difference was obvious, composite disaster index from small to large were Gulang, Liangzhou, Minqin, Tianzhu, Yongchang, Wushaoling, namely Gulang and Liangzhou should be the first choice for the construction of regional sunlight greenhouse; Minqin should fully consider the resistance to wind damage on the design of optimum type greenhouse, the rest was not suitable for large area promotion. The conclusion not only provides the basis for the sunlight greenhouse production layout, but also fill the gaps in assessment system of the regional agricultural meteorological disaster.
