Abstract: This paper reviewed the research progress on comprehensive characters relative to biofuels of sweet sorghum, such as roots, leaves, stems, flowering, plant height, tillering, QTL molecular level, storage after harvest and bioconversion efficiency, etc, to provide a reference for the development of sweet sorghum for biofuel production.
