Abstract: The paper aims to provide reference for selecting superior varieties of Camellia oleifera for Changshan and west Zhejiang by evaluating the introduction performance of Changlin series in Changshan. We introduced 6 fine varieties of Camellia oleifera from Changlin series in 2010 and analyzed the tree growth, yield and fruit traits. The results showed that: there were differences in tree growth, fruit traits and yield between the 6 fine varieties; the crown of‘changlin 23’,‘changlin 166’and‘changlin 3’was relatively large; while the yield per crown of‘changlin 4’,‘changlin 40’,‘changlin 53’and‘changlin 23’was over 1 kg/m2 and the oil content of kernel of‘changlin 23’and‘changlin 40’was over 44%. In conclusion,‘changlin 4’,‘changlin 40’, ‘changlin 53’and‘changlin 23’have better performance in the experiment and could be given priority for the development of Camellia oleifera in Changshan.
