Application of Near-infrared Spectroscopy in Tea: Research Progress

Abstract: To analyze the quality of tea quickly, this paper describes the research progress of near-infrared spectroscopy in tea briefly, including qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The qualitative analysis is mainly applied in tea identification, origin identification, grade evaluation, tea beverage identification, etc. In terms of quantitative analysis, the main application of near-infrared spectroscopy is the quick measurement of the content of chemical constituents in tea. The study points out the problems in the application of nearinfrared spectroscopy in tea, and predicts the technology in tea quality control, online monitoring, substance testing, etc., aiming to provide a reference for the broader application of near-infrared spectroscopy in the improvement of tea quality.
