Abstract:

We reviewed and summarized the general research progress of absorption and enrichment characteristics of cadmium in wheat, and analyzed the enrichment coefficient of cadmium in different parts of wheat. The results showed that: the cadmium enrichment in different parts of wheat was in the order of root>leaf>stem>seed. The safety threshold of soil cadmium was an important index to ensure the quality of wheat. The content of cadmium in wheat grain could be predicted by the total cadmium content and pH value in soil. The soil available cadmium extracted by 3 kinds of extractants was discussed, and it was found that the correlation coefficients (r) between the soil available cadmium extracted by these extractants and cadmium in wheat grain were in the order: complexing agents>neutral salts (CaCl2)>dilute (weak) acids. At last, we put forward references for future wheat cadmium pollution prediction.

Key words: wheat, cadmium, enrichment, safety threshold, extractant, pollution prediction
