  • Received:2018-11-05 Revised:2019-03-15 Accepted:2018-12-06 Online:2019-04-26 Published:2019-04-26

Abstract: Transcriptomics, proteomics, genomics and metabolomics are characterized by high throughput, high sensitivity and systematicness, and have become powerful tools for studying plants response to biotic and abiotic stresses at the molecular level. In this review, we summarized OMICS technologies in sugar beet at domestic and abroad in recent years, including sugar beet in biotic and abiotic stress resistance molecular mechanism, the structure of the cytoplasmic male sterile (CMS) sugar beet gene and the auxiliary function of sugar beet breeding. These researches have important value for breeding new varieties of sugar beet. In future, it is suggested to strengthen the research strategy of combining multiple histology, and explore more highquality gene resources by combining gene function identification.
