Abstract: With the increase of population, limited land resources and relatively concentrated crop production areas, crop continuous cropping has become a common trend in China. However, as the number of years of continuous cropping increases, the quality and yield of crops have been affected to varying degrees. Therefore, a series of obstacles caused by continuous cropping has become a key factor restricting sustainable agricultural production, and has attracted wide attention by countries from all over the world. This article briefly summarized the three aspects of the performance, causes and reduction techniques of continuous cropping obstacles, and discussed the future research direction in order to provide some references for the related research.
