The Impact of Land Use Change on Ecosystem Service Value in Baiyin

Abstract:

To clarify the relationship between land use status and ecosystem service value in Baiyin City, and further determine the impact of land use types on the ecosystem, in the study, the equivalent factor method was used to evaluate the land use status, ecosystem service value and the relationship between them in Baiyin City from 2009 to 2017. The results showed that: (1) from 2009 to 2017, the total value of ecosystem services decreased from 5.675 billion yuan to 5.649 billion yuan in Baiyin City, the general trend was downward, all ecosystem functions and ecosystem services were also downward; the value of grassland ecosystem services had the largest reduction and decreased by 25.4918 million yuan, and the population load on the ecosystem showed a downward trend; (2) land use types had great impacts on ecosystem service value in Baiyin City, it was mainly due to the increase of construction land and the decrease of grassland and woodland area. In future development, we should explore the ecological development from the aspects of protecting ecological land and excavating the stock of construction land.
