Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to learn about the current research status in the field of biological control of nematodes, and provide information for the development of nematode biological control in China. The published literature on biological control of nematodes from Web of Science and China National Knowledge Infrastructure was collected and analyzed quantitatively with CiteSpace and other bibliometric analysis software. Results show that biological control of nematodes is a hotspot in domestic and international research. The annual number of related publications has an overall increasing trend, and more and more institutions, including many companies, have started to do this research. Compared with English literature, Chinese literature is mostly limited to the control of single species of nematodes, the cross-disciplinary research is not obvious and the ecological aspects are less involved. At present, research on biological control of nematodes is widespread, but the effect of actual application is not so satisfactory. Related studies about the biological control of nematodes should consider screening biocontrol strain from indigenous species to solve the problem of environmental adaptation. At the same time, cross-disciplinary research should be strengthened and community ecology should be considered more for new breakthrough.
