Abstract:

The resistance of broadleaf weeds in sorghum field to herbicides is becoming increasingly serious, and the limited varieties of herbicides that can be used in sorghum field make it difficult to control broadleaf weeds, and the yield of sorghum has been greatly affected. Therefore, there is an urgent need to screen out herbicides with good control effect on resistant broadleaf weeds in sorghum production. This experiment discussed the control effect of different dosages of 20% saflufenacil suspension concentrate on broadleaf weeds in sorghum field, such as Polygonum bungeanum Turcz., Amaranthus retroflexus L. and Chenopodium album L.. The results showed that the medium and high dosages (60, 90 g a.i./hm2) of 20% saflufenacil herbicide suspension concentrate had good control effect on broadleaf weeds in sorghum field. The maximum control effect on the fresh weight of broadleaf weeds could reach 97.75%, and the duration of the effect could be about 30 days. In addition, the herbicide was safe for sorghum, did not affect the yield, and had the characteristics of reducing application and increasing efficiency. The experiment results can provide a theoretical basis for the rational control of broadleaf weeds in sorghum fields.
