Abstract:

To explore the effect of different facility environments on vegetable seedlings, with tomato and cucumber plug seedlings in solar greenhouse and plant factory as experimental materials, the research on the growth and water use efficiency of tomato and cucumber seedlings in different facility environments was carried out. The experiment showed that the plant height, stem diameter, leaf area and water consumption of tomato seedlings in solar greenhouse were higher than those in plant factory. There was no significant difference in aboveground dry weight of tomato seedlings under different treatments. The plant height, stem diameter, aboveground dry weight and water consumption of cucumber seedlings in solar greenhouse were higher than those in plant factory. Compared with solar greenhouse, plant factory significantly increased the underground dry weight, strong seedling index and water use efficiency of tomato and cucumber seedlings. It can be seen that plant factory can produce high-quality and strong seedlings while achieving high efficiency and water saving. It is recommended to carry out vegetable seedling cultivation under plant factory conditions.
