Effects of Different Ways of Applying Nano Carbon Compound Fertilizer on Yield and Quality of Sweet Potato

Abstract:

To explore the response of nano-carbon to crop growth and development factors, and to clarify the impact of compound fertilizer combined with nano-carbon on crops, sweet potato was used as the research object, and a comparative experiment of compound fertilizer and nano-carbon was designed with different combined application methods, such as single watering, spraying and watering plus spraying. The effects of different treatments on the survival rate, agronomic shape, chlorophyll SPAD value, yield and quality of sweet potato were studied. The experimental results showed that the survival rate of two kinds of sweet potato could be effectively increased by using 1.0 kg 1000 times of nano-carbon solution per litter to irrigate the litter when the potato seedlings were planted with nano-carbon combined with compound fertilizer, and then spraying the stems and leaves with 1000 times of nano-carbon solution evenly 30 days after planting. And the yield of the starch type ‘Shangshu 19’ and the fresh eating type sweet potato ‘Yanshu 25’ increased by 3.51% and 10.67% respectively. Meanwhile, the starch content of the starch type ‘Shangshu 19’ and the soluble sugar content of the fresh eating type sweet potato ‘Yanshu 25’ improved. Therefore, applying compound fertilizer combined with nano-carbon according to this method can effectively improve the yield and quality of sweet potato and promote the healthy development of sweet potato industry.
