Abstract:

Environmental temperature has an important impact on rice production. The canopy temperature reflects the average surface temperature of various organs of rice canopy, which is composed of thermal characteristics and physiological responses to the environment. Canopy temperature significantly relates to environmental temperature, represents changes in rice internal physiological activities and also connects environmental conditions and crop genetic characteristics. Studying the impact mechanism and related regulation mechanism of rice canopy temperature can better explain the energy and material exchange between rice plants and external environment, which has high research value. This paper reviewed the basic characteristics of rice canopy temperature and the corresponding regulation mechanism of environmental temperature, and put forward some suggestions for future research on rice canopy temperature to better apply canopy temperature to rice growth monitoring.
