Abstract: “Yinnuo No. 1” is a hybrid of XN-5 and the BN51 self-cross strain. The Glutinous Corn Breeding Group of Beijing Agricultural College bred it in 2000 The cultivars had passed breeding tests in 2000 and 2001, yield comparison in 2002 and 2003, and regional tests in the Beijing area in 2004~2005. Fresh ear yield of “Yinnuo No. 1”, which is up to 720 kg/(660m2), is 30.8% higher than that of the cultivars “Zhongnuo No. 1”, that of fresh grain being 20.7% higher. “Yinnuo No. 1” is the only one yellow-grained glutinous corn cultivars passed regional tests in the Beijing area.
