Karyotype Analysis of Two Wheat Intergeneric Hybrids and Three Parents

Abstract: 【OBJECTIVE】 Our objective was to study the truth of hybrids were identified by cytology authentication and Genomens of chromosome and their ploidy. 【METHOD】 The experiment was conducted with normal Genomens chromosome analysis.【RESULTS】 The karyotype of two interspecific hybrids and their parents of Triticum were analyzed and reported in this paper. The result was that karyotype characteristics of two hybrids 1894×Ps5 and XIN7×Ps5 and their parents were clarified, The karyotype were XIN7(2n=6x=42):2M+12sm+28m(2SAT)(2B)and 1894 (2n=6x=42): 2M+20sm+18m(2SAT)(2B)and Ps5(2n=4x=28): 2M+12sm(2SAT)+12m+2st(2B)and 1894×Ps5(2n=5x=35): 2M+19m+12sm+2st(B)and XIN7×Ps5(2n=5X=35):1M+21m+13sm(2B); respectively. 【CONCLUSION】 the truth of hybrids were identified, the both were true, and the chromosome 1and the chromosome 1 of XIN7 parent and 1894 parent were in A-Genomen and B-Genomen, respectively; their ploidy was 6X. which Genomens chromosome 3 belonged to did not studied.
